The 2 days gorilla trek to Rwanda begins at Kinigi, the Volcanoes national park headquarters and ends in Kigali. So, the visitor should have stayed near the park headquarters a day before.
Day 1: Hiking Mount Bisoke
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Virunga national park and transfer back to Kigali
Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.
You will be picked from the hotel in Kigali and transfer northwards to Volcanoes National Park en route visit Iby’wachu village (optional @ USD20pp) for a cultural experience. Dinner and overnight stay at Muhabura Hotel(Budget)/Davinci Lodge (deluxe) /Tiloreza Volcanoes Eco lodge/ Five Volcanoes hotel (Luxury).
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking and transfer back to Kigali.
Assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing in the morning together with your trekking gear and drinking water and ascend in the forest to track the gorillas. Once you catch up with them, you will be allowed to stay with them for a maximum of 1hr while observing and taking photographs. On return, you will transfer back to Kigali for drop off at the airport or hotel.

must have gorilla permits without which no one is allowed to see these gentle giants. Due to the high demand for gorilla permits, travelers are required to book as early as six months prior to the trekking date.
