Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe National park.
In the morning, you will be picked by the tour guide from your hotel in Kigali and set off a scenic drive to Nyungwe National park. You will have en route visit to Nyanza King's palace for a cultural experience, Butare national museum, Murambi genocide museum among others if time allows.
Proceed and reach Nyungwe in the evening for dinner and overnight at One and Only Nyungwe house (super luxury)/ Emeraude Kivu Resort (deluxe/ luxury)/ Gisakura Guest House (budget). FB
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and afternoon canopy walk.
Very early in the morning, you will set off to the Kyamudongo forest for briefing and embark on chimpanzee tracking adventure. Once you catch up with them, you will be allowed to be with them for not more than 1hr. You will later return to the hotel for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you will go for a canopy walk and return in the evening. Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes hotel

Day 4. Gorilla tracking and afternoon cultural walk.
Early morning, with packed lunch, you will go to the park headquarters for
briefing before embarking on the gorilla tracking adventure. Once you find the gorillas, you have not more than 1hr to observe and learn much about them before returning to your lodge. In the evening, you may go for a cultural experience to Iby'wachu village

Day 5. Golden monkey tracking, transfer back to Kigali
Early morning, you will go for golden monkey tracking and once you find them, enjoy them play in the forest as you take photos. On return, transfer to back to Kigali for drop off at your hotel. Overnight at Kigali Serena hotel (luxury)/ Five to Five hotel (deluxe). BB
Day 6.Transfer to Akagera NP and boat cruise
In the morning, you will be transferred to Akagera National park, reaching
early for a short game drive around the park. This is the only savannah park in Rwanda and with the recent introduction of lions and Rhinos, the park now boasts of the big 5 mammals. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on Lake Ihema. You may expect to see hippos, crocodiles and some water birds. Dinner and overnight at Ruzizi Tented lodge (luxury)/ Akagera Game lodge (deluxe). Day 7: Game drive and transfer back to Kigali
Early morning, you will go for a game drive in the northern section of the park anticipating to see a variety of wildlife species including antelopes, zebras as well as some cat species if you are lucky. In the afternoon, you will exit the park and drive back to Kigali for drop off at your hotel or airport.
