Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe Airport

Meet your safari guide at the air port, transfer to the hotel. If you arrive early you may go for a city tour to check out some of the nice places in Kampala. Places to visit include, the Bahai temple, Uganda Museum, Kasubi tombs and many more. Dinner and overnight in Holiday Express Hotel, Kampala Forest Cottages, Sheraton Hotel Kampala.

Day 2: Kampala - Lake Mburo National Park

10 Days Uganda safariAfter breakfast, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park (3 Hours drive) with a stop at the equator for photographs. Expect enroute game viewing with animals such as Zebra, Impala, Eland and other savannah species and birds like African Fin foot, Papyrus, Bush Shrike, and so on. After lunch, take an afternoon Boat trip on lake Mburo to see hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and variety of bird species including the rare shoebill. Overnight at Mpogo lodge or Rwankobo lodge (deluxe)/ Kigambira game lodge or Mihingo lodge (luxury)

Day 3: Lake Mburo - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Wake up early for morning game drive to catch up with early raisers and predators returning to the hide outs, return to the lodge for full breakfast and proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National park with enroute game viewing. The journey goes through beautifull views of Kigezi Hills, "the Switzerland of Africa", have picnic lunch enrote and relax in the evening as we wait for Overnight at Travelers’ Rest hotel (budget)/ Ichumbi Gorilla lodge / L. Day 4: Gorilla tracking Adventure

10 Days Uganda safariHave breakfast to transfer to the park headquarters (with packed lunch and water) for briefing before setting off to the forest in search for gorillas. Time taken searching for these humble giant apes is unpredictable. However, it ranges between 2-8 hours depending on their movement. The activity goes through steep rocks climbing up and down making it tiresome. However, the thrill of encountering these giant primates erases the poor memories you went through in trying to find them. Time permitting; take a cultural walk in the evening to nearby Batwa communities (Pygmies). DOvernight at Travelers’ Rest hotel (budget)/ Ichumbi Gorilla lodge / L. Day 5: Bwindi Forest - Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have breakfast to depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park with lots of game viewing enroute, including tree-climbing lions in Ishasha sector .Relax after lunch at Mweya safari Lodge, and later go for an evening game drive to see animals like buffaloes, Lions, herds of Elephants, bush bucks, bush pigs, warthogs, Deffassa waterbucks and many more. Overnight and dinner at Enganzi Game lodge (deluxe)/ Kataara lodge (luxury). Meal Plan; lunch and dinner

Day 6: Full day tour activities in Queen Elizabeth Park

After a cup of tea / coffee, to go for a game drive and catch up with the early risers, and predators trying to get back to their hide outs. Return for full breakfast and lunch at the Lodge, relax as we wait for lunch, later go for afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga channel, famous for the highest concentration of Hippos in Africa, alongside other animals like Buffaloes, and huge crocodiles basking on the shores, as well as 611 birds species.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth - Kibale Forest;

Home to 13 primates species
Have breakfast to transfer to Kibale Forest National Park through Fort-portal, amidst the great mountains of the moon offering you beautiful sceneries. Lunch at Ndali Lodge and proceed for chimpanzee Tracking. Expect other primates too like the Mangabeys, colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys, bush babies baboons and many more. Overnight and dinner at Chimpanzee Guesthouse (budget)/ Turacco Tree Tops / Isunga lodge (deluxe)/ Kyaninga lodge / Primate lodge (luxury). Meal Plan; lunch and dinner

Day 8: Kibale Forest - Murchison falls National Park

Have breakfast and connect to Murchison falls National Park, arrive by afternoon, have lunch and drive direct to the top of the falls where the park derives its name. Here you will see the calm Nile forcing its self through a narrow gorge of 7 meters wide to fall a distance of about 150 ft down producing a thunderous roar of white water- incredible scenery! Overnight at Pakuba Safari lodge (deluxe)/ Kabalega Wilderness lodge (luxury).

Day 9: Full Day tour activities in Murchison Falls Park

10 Days Uganda safariTake a cup of tea/coffee and go for a game drive before dawn to catch up with predators and early risers. Expect animals such as jackals, Lions, Leopards, spotted hyenas, giraffe, antelope, elephant, Buffaloes, Uganda kob and many more. You will retire from the game drive for late breakfast and lunch and then in the afternoon you will go for a Boat ride on the Victoria Nile. The boat trip will take you to the bottom of the falls where you will view animals like the buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, elephants and plenty of water birds like fish eagles and rare shoebills and many more. Overnight at Pakuba Safari lodge (deluxe)/ Kabalega Wilderness lodge (luxury).

Day 10: Picnic drive Back to Kampala

After breakfast, we can take a short game drive and then drive back to Kampala, stop at the Royal drum makers to have a look at the local methods of drum making that have been adopted for generations.

  • Once you arrive in Kigali, you will take another covid 19 test and be in self quarantine at any of the chosen hotels in Kigali for 24hrs as you wait for your covid 19 test results

You will then start your tour after your results have returned and you are proved negative

  • These results expire every after 72hrs, hence if your tour is still going on, you will need another test to allow you enter any other park or do any other activity after 72hrs of your test. (This applies to Rwanda only, not Uganda)
  • Before departure from Rwanda or Uganda, you need to do another covid 19 test not more than 72hrs before your departure as you will be required to present your results before boarding your departure flight.
  • While on your tour, you are advised to carry your masks and maintain social distance whenever you are in the public
