The Rwanda Primates tour involves Gorilla trekking and Chimpanze tracking among other tour activities. This tour begins and ends in Kigali. The tour takes you to Parc National des Volcans for gorilla trekking and Nyungwe forest National Park for chimpanzee tracking and finally return to Kigali.

Day 1 : Arrival at the Airport in Kigali

• you shall be met by the driver/tour guide and transfer to Ruhengeri town about 90 minutes drive. You will have clear view of Rwanda's hilly country side en-route.

Day 2 : Gorilla trekking - Parc national des Volcans

• After early breakfast we shall head to Kinigi for briefing and other required gorilla trekking formalities and head straight to the thick forest for gorilla trekking. Tourists are allowed maximum of one hour to spend with the Gorillas, after we shall go for lunch.
• Attractive huge biodiversity, implausible scenery and extraordinary views.

Day 3 : Transfer to Nyungwe forest national Park

• Beatiful scenery - green hills of tea plantations and the vast Nyungwe Forest en-route
• Visit the old palace in Nyanza.

Day 4 : Chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe forest

• Go for Chimp tracking in Nyungwe National park
• Guided nature walks in the forest in search of the 13 recorded species of primates, including chimpanzees, large groups of Rwenzori colobus and velvet monkeys, olive baboons and grey-cheeked mangabey.
• Rich bird life, over 275 bird species, this is also the most important birding site in Rwanda.

Day 5 : Transfer to Kigali and Departure

• Have an optional guided nature walk in Nyungwe forest or Return to Kigali as soon as possible for a city tour.
• Transfer to Kigali Airport for departure.
